Warning: A Post For Girls Only

My father in law told me that I should warn people (men I am assuming) when I post delicate information about motherhood/pregnancy/girly parts. So consider yourself warned.

Today I experienced the return of my period. Boo. After not having one for 12 months I was pretty bummed. I was under the impression that I wouldn't be getting it for a long while longer than 8 weeks postpartum. I thought that was one of the items they advertise about breastfeeding: suppressed hormones = no period. I was wrong.

I've been duped again.

    I didn't breastfeed too long but I got mine back pretty much immediately too. Bummer. :(

    Breastfed for 7 months.... got my period EXACTLY 4 weeks after my stinky was born! SUCKS! i was sooooo looking forward to a non-existent menstrual cycle for at least another 6 months!
