Our Christmas

We had a great Christmas "vacation". Since Pat was off from school his mom and him arranged to have the carpet pulled up in our living room and dining room and our 100 year old wood floors refinished. While Pat was here working with a few guys to get it all done before Christmas Jack and I had to stay at my mom's. Between the fumes and the dust it was best for us to stay over there. It was so nice to be home at my mom's for the holidays. Libby had just moved home from New York and hadn't met Jack yet. This gave her a chance to wake up every morning and snuggle her nephew and play with him every night until bed time. The floors were finished (except for the quarter round) by Christmas Eve! What a great present. The fumes were still really bad from the stain though so we stayed there until Monday evening.
